About Us

Hello! My name is Tara Murphy and I'm the owner of Sprouts Children's Boutique. I'm the mother of my 5 year old daughter, Shelby Lynn, who made me truly fall in love with children's clothing. My husband, David, jokes about the fact that Fed-Ex and UPS visit our home daily with packages and to eat lunch. I'm also an elementary teacher of 20 years and my passion is making children feel good about themselves whether that's in the classroom or in their day to day life. My business name came from watching my daughter "sprout" into a beautiful young lady. I promise to provide inspirational pieces that are modest and capture the true beauty of children.
